MARY VALLEY RAIL TRAIL

Imbil Brooloo Rail Trail

The Mary Valley Rail Trail links Brooloo and Imbil with a 9km round trip for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. The trail passes through bellbird habitat and State Forest with a good shade and a gravel trail surface. A popular trail with locals and visitors enjoying an easily accessible walk, cycle or ride.

RIDE THE MARY VALLEY RATTLER

Step onboard one of the meticulously restored trains and travel along the tracks that have been brought back to life. Sit back, relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Mary Valley.

The journey through the Mary Valley passes through the picturesque small town of Dagun. Nestled in the centre of the Mary Valley, Amamoor is a historic town bordered by Amamoor State Forest which is home to more than 120 species of birds.

Here the train will turn around on the restored turntable. You can watch this fascinating process or explore the quaint community of Amamoor.

KENILWORTH DAIRIES

Cheese has been made in Kenilworth for more than 60 years. Now known as Kenilworth Dairies, they provide the freshest, highest quality milk from their dairy farms in the nearby Mary Valley.

Visit Kenilworth Dairies seven days a week and sample magnificent cheeses, yoghurt and mousse. Purchase their own and other locally produced gourmet goodies in the factory shop. Enjoy a coffee, lunch or a handmade ice cream in Poppa’s Café.  Make sure you visit Kenilworth and this beautiful region: a picturesque drive to a tasty destination
